Is that complete speculation or an educated guess?

We can hope so anyway, provided it pays 3% or better I will take it out if it comes. I guess Ford did not properly anticipate the desire for a cash product paying more than inflation .

I have just opened the regular saver ISA today - its not a huge amount but I can't find a better rate than 4% for an ISA.


Its a shame about the regular saver - I hope they reconsider.


Has anyone put money into their account yet? I got an email with the account details but that's about it so far.

Educated guess Based on the T&C's having a section covering the topic of issues, and them being written nearly 12 months ago suggests there has been a lot of long term planning involved in this.

Revised T&C's and a lower interest rate are really speculation, but on the basis if they aren't changed then issue 2 will sell out by 3pm on launch day

I've never considered this particularly problematic and always concatenate first name and surname when faced with this 8+ character requirement, which has been a feature of a number of providers who I believe have shared the same underlying platform (Newcastle?) - West Brom and Charter Savings for two....

Ancient Oracle programming background resurfacing there - I suppose 'join' would be a perfectly adequate substitute here but, to borrow a phrase I'm sure I've read on here somewhere, why use a long word if a diminutive one would suffice?
