Signage different to parking notice (LPS)

Dear forum,
Need some advice about a parking charge I received through the post from London Parking Security Ltd (BPA) whilst at Premier Inn.
The charge was issued for the following reason 'failure to pay for the duration of stay - overstay duration: 13 minutes'
A bit of back story, my wife visits Premier Inn a couple times a month for a coffee and previously the parking was free for the first two hours. However, about 6 weeks ago LPS had changed (or taken over the previous firm) it to only the first 30 minutes are free. My wife was there for total of 1hr and 13 minutes however, as per the signage it states only the first 30 minutes are free, rest is chargeable.
The parking charge says we've overstayed by 13 minutes yet according to their own signage it should actually be 33 minutes. I understand that this leaves us in a worse position but I was just wondering whether we could void the charge on this technicality.
Please help!

PPC's don't actually care - and arguing technicalities with a bunch of cowboys is a losers game.

And write/email to Premier Inn to say that their agent (LPS) is harassing a paying customer.0

Please double check the name of the parking company. I can't find them in the BPA list.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0

Local Parking Security Limited? They're on the BPA AOS list.
London Parking Solutions Ltd are IPC AOS members.0 -

Hence my question. I can't find a scammer of the name quoted by the OP in either scammer AOS list.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Is this going to be a typical one-post NEWBIE who never returns to their own thread?0

Apologies to everyone, I couldn't find my original thread. It is Local Parking Security Ltd that sent the letter. I have also spoken to Premier Inn who have told me to speak to the parking company.0

As above, make a proper complaint to customer services at their headquarters or the hotel manager, or both. Leave negative feedback on social trapadvisor and fakebook if the won't cancel it.
In addition, send the BPA appeal template in blue from the NEWBIES thread to the parking scammers. Copy and paste and send so you don't reveal the driver's identity. Don't miss the appeal deadline. You only have a few days left.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Update
So I emailed them the template yesterday and they've just replied saying they will accept a £2 settlement. Not going to moan as it's only £2 so thank you to all the replies :beer:0
