Running out of time, can't find info

I hope someone out there may be able to help me.

Were you booked on a flight sometime around 12th -15th June 2011 from London Gatwick to Malaga, that was delayed, and then cancelled. It was scheduled to leave late afternoon, I think. Accommodation was provided for the passengers at airport hotels, but some people were coached to Brighton, and we were put on flights with other airlines the next day?

I cannot find details of the flight on the search engines as I cannot come up with enough information. I have spent hours trying all combinations of dates and times and airlines, but come up with nothing. Some of the flights have no information listed. I have contacted companies offering a claim service as surely other passengers have made a claim - but they just say I do not have enough information for them to deal with it.

I am running out of time and getting stressed now. Does anyone have information of this flight???

Why are you getting stressed? It obviously wasn't that bad at the time because you don't even remember the date. You could have submitted a claim years ago and avoided any 'stress', but for some reason you've left it to the very last minute.

Was the aircraft, orange, blue, or purple inside?

You have 4 weeks(?) to raise court papers against an unknown airline for a delay/cancellation for an unknown reason on an unknown date
The airline may not be in business any more....I expect if you were sign up for the paid subscription on flightstats etc and to issue a SAR and pay your £10 to all the possible airlines, you would still not meet the timelines
NWNF tend not to take on cases that have less than a year to run so even if you had the info you are likely going to have to deal with airline and court yourself
It has not been important enough to deal with in the last 6 years so I would personally not bother now...yes it would be nice if you had the information but seems it will involve even more stress

Thank you all for the helpful(?) comments.

I was not aware about the possibility to make a claim against the airline at the time, it was not such 'big business' in Spain as far as I was aware. When I moved back to the UK I read about making claims against airlines. As I had suffered a delay of more that 12 hours I thought I would try to make a claim.

OK so I do not know the date except that it was within a couple of days of my husband's funeral. I do not know the colour inside the aircraft as sadly I never actually made it inside the plane. I have been scouring many flight stats websites over many months and was reaching out to this helpful forum just on the off chance that someone reading this may have been booked on the same flight.

I apologise for posting the topic, you have managed to make me feel really stupid.

Sign up and pay for flight stats historical information and then search all of those dates near your husband's funeral, you should come across the flight then start the claim against the airline, but you'll have to be quick and don't get distracted by their silly replies...BUT I really wouldn't bother, spring is here, avoid the stress.

laslomas, I appreciate your wish to find out, but you really have left it very late and the chances of finding out the information is quite slim to say the least. Maybe you'll get lucky but you will have to do every stage very very quickly to get within the 6 year limit, assuming you live in England.
