is it really worth going to court for?

I never said I was taking anyone to court,
But the problem is you can't prove it is mis-selling rather than a genuine mistake

Read the thread I said I already conceded that.
You picked it up in person, how could you not notice it was already open,

It was in a bag, it was not obvious that the seal was broken, and who checks for things like that when they pick up an item like that I suppose every time you buy anything you open the box to make sure everything is as it should be?

If I was trolling this is a very boring thing to troll about.

Holds hand up and waves !
I always check the box is sealed properly before I leave the shop. If it looks like a bvit of sellotape rather than a factory seal I will open it in the shop and check it before leaving.

Why did you agree to pick it up in five working days when you could have ordered it online and had it delivered earlier?, it is also very likely it would be cheaper (from another online retailer).
  • i have a consumer issue I'm new to this site. Can you please tell me how to post

And why did you post the exact same question in a thread in the Matched Betting forum?

The item was not available anywhere online for the same price. It is now a hard model to locate, apparently. There were a couple on Amazon but they were £50 more expensive. Currys had it, and at the cheapest price. We now have bought the item from Amazon, at the higher price.

But in the post immediately preceding the one you quote you say it was mis-selling(?).
