Car Missing Service History

Hello all.
Apologies in advance for the long post. Situation:
- I bought a used '15 plate Mazda 6 from Arnold Clark in September 2016. Car was advertised as having a full Mazda service history and still having the balance of the Mazda warranty. Rather stupidly, I didn't ask to see the service history during the sales process (life lesson learned).
- Mazdas do not have a service book, but a Digital Service Record (DSR), which Mazda garage's have access to. The DSR is also shown in the My Mazda app available to Mazda owners.
- After purchasing the car I signed up for the My Mazda app but I couldn't get my car to show in the app.
- In January 2017 I put the car into my local Arnold Clark Mazda to check a couple of minor issues (not the same garage the car was purchased from). I also asked for assistance with the app and a copy of the DSR.
- When I picked up the car I was asked to contact Mazda about the car not showing in the My Mazda app and was given a copy of the DSR. The DSR only contained the pre-delivery inspection and 1 service (at about 38,000 miles). I was told by the Service Desk staff member that any future warranty work would require proof of Mazda servicing having been carried out.
- I called the Arnold Clark branch I purchased the car from and was told the salesman I had purchased the car from had left. The person I spoke to said they would look into it. I mentioned that the previous owner listed on the V5 seemed to suggest it was a fleet vehicle (unfortunately it turned out that the car is an ex-rental).
- I received a call back to state it was an Enterprise car and that Enterprise were going to provide proof of Mazda services having been carried out, and that this would be added to the DSR. (This is still in January).
- After me chasing every few days, at the end of March Arnold Clark eventually sent confirmation from Enterprise that services had been carried out at around 12000 and 25000 miles. But all this was, was an Enterprises headed letter with a table showing the number plate and when the services were carried out. Arnold Clark confirmed they needed more than this to add the services to the DSR and were waiting on invoices from Enterprise to confirm Mazda or Mazda acceptable aftermarket items were used to carry out the service.
- After a few weeks I hadn't heard anything so I called to chase. Again, I was told the salesman that had been looking into this for me had now also left and had not passed on any information about my issue to anyone. I asked to speak to the Sales Manager and was offered a call back, after 2 weeks this has never occurred.
- I've given the garage from January (when I discovered there was only one service in the DSR) until now to rectify the issue and as yet the DSR is unchanged.
My main concerns are that the car at present is not covered by the Mazda warranty, and the lack of service history will affect the future value of the car.
What actions can I take? My preference is returning the car - is this an option after this amount of time? (I would happily do so due to other annoying issues I've got with car, and I understand the increase in mileage would need to be taken into consideration). Or is there some other route I can go down either to get the service history from Enterprise or get some sort of recompense from Arnold Clark that takes into consideration I was sold a car as having a full service history which turned out to be untrue. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You could ask Arnold Shark (for that is how they are referred to on this site) if they would be prepared to buy back or exchange the car allowing for extra mileage and at the same level as a car with Mazda FSH. However the car may well have been properly serviced, there just is no record of this. You are well out of time to reject the car.
Enterprise have no legal obligation to provide you with any information or documentation concerning the car as you have no contract with them.
If you wanted recompense from AC you would probably have to sue and you would need to know the difference in value between the car having and not having FSH on the day you bought it.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Just a thought but I am pretty sure Mazda have all service recorded electronically on their systems. Contact Mazda to see if this is the case."I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0

Thanks lincroft, will go back to AC and see what options are open to me (I doubt many). Didn't want to do this without getting some advice/suggestions first.0
