MT (Mobile terminated) premium messages have been banned by the FOC for a number of years in this country.
Therefore it is technically impossible for them to send you a text that will cost you money.
All premium services now use MO premium messages (Mobile originated), which means you have to initiate the transaction by sending a text to a shortcode.
