Nationwide - Valuation to offer

I have just applied for a FTB mortgage through Nationwide on Monday and they have had the valuation carried out yesterday.
Does anyone have any recent timelines with Nationwide as to when we will receive our offer?

Might be worth having look at the "Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision..." thread in this forum. There are some recent Nationwide timelines in there. Sorry, I can't post a link to it.0

We had a valuation on Monday.
We had to send an extra document which they received on Wednesday.
Went to the underwriters yesterday and received an offer this morning.0 -
We had valuation on 2nd May, already had our payslips, no other documents needed. Mortgage offer accepted on 8th May.
Nationwide were really quick! Can't fault them so far0 -
Thu 4th May - mortgage appointment
Mon 8th May - valuation
Wed 10th May - offer made
So 4 working days from appointment to offerWe're existing customers, moving and borrowing more.
They were great with us as FTBs too. Best of luck in your mortgage & house purchase0 -
FTB here, timescales weren't too bad;
Mortgage Application: 29 April
Mortgage Valuation: 8 May - Cancelled without reason
Mortgage Valuation: 11 May
Offer Issued: 11 May0 -
FTB here too. Application 5th April, valuation 12th April, offer 12th April. Good luck xx0

I've been so impressed with Nationwide...
Application made: 20th April
Survey took place: 10th May
Valuation report received: 10th May
Mortgage offer: 10th May
I received a text at 2pm the same day the survey took place saying the valuation report had been received, then a split second later a text saying they had issued a mortgage offer :j My mortgage application went in 20th April so they had a few weeks to do the background stuff before the valuation took place though.
I've read numerous threads on here and other places whereby people get the 'report received' text then don't get the 'mortgage offer' text for a few days later so don't be disheartened that yours hasn't come through yet.0 -
Congrats everyone who has received their offers!
I found out on Friday that they were missing a page from a statement so that was holding things up! My MA is dealing with the whole application and said if this hadn't have been the case we possibly would have had the offer on Friday! This is turning out to be the longest weekend ever!!!
Never again do I want to go through this! :rotfl:0 -
This was back in 2014 mind, but my experience was quite good with Nationwide. Seemed to be a bit of a lag with the valuation being received/approved between Jan/Feb, but wasn't too bothered. We had bought a new build off plan so there was no rush.
Application made - 16th January
Valuation booked - 17th January (for 21st January)
Valuation received - 3rd February
Mortgage offer - 4th February
I got email and text updates each time.0 -
We applied for a nationwide mortgage on 4th May, had a few requests through my broker. The last message I had was on Thursday advising that the valuation has been requested and panelled. So hopefully this is a good sign.0
