The reply by Debt_Free_Chick is brilliant, offering really interesting advice & information - it's that good that I'm going to bookmark it to refer to in future.

I'm guessing this is the kind of information that used to be passed on through the generations but has now been forgotten...

She has put up with a lot of red tape, hassle from her LL, bueraucracy & plain incompetence, but still keeps a cheerful head for her 2 children.
