Overseas Credit Card loading

Options
Hi,
I have a Halifax Clarity card for overseas travel, which doesn't charge a fee for overseas cash withdrawals, but does charge interest from point of withdrawal onwards.
If I preload the card with my planned cash withdrawal requirements, will I be charged interest when I withdraw the cash overseas?
Thanks for your comments.

Against the T&Cs. Just pay it off when you get back, for a normal length holiday/trip the interest will be trivial. I paid about 50p for withdrawing 500 EUR on my last holiday.

There's literally a thread asking this very question at the bottom of this page of the forum.

Perhaps their should be a sticky about Clarity withdrawals.

Virtually every day there are posts from people asking the same question...."I'm happy to spend thousands of pounds on a holiday but how can I avoid paying a few pence in CC interest?"

What about your credit rating though? Lenders can see that you have withdrawn cash, no?

Yes. They can also see if you're repaying it too.

Only an issue if you're taking cash advances and increasing your debts over time.
