Parking Eye not communicating

Hi, My partner has a CCJ for not paying a Parking Eye fine (he moved house and didn't get the letters). He has since sent a cheque to Parking Eye (in October) to pay off the fine. After noticing that the debt had not been cleared from his credit record he contacted them and they denied receiving his cheque. He then provided a copy of the letter and cheque and they have said that it was put against another fine that they have said is his. He has repeated written and e-mailed to ask that they amend their records and to send evidence of the fine that they have posted the payment against, but they are not responding. What can he do?

Complain in the strongest of terms in writing to your local Trading Standards Department, copying to BPA. Do not contact CAB.

Try phoning parking eye on 0870 280 7058
This number should go through to the department to talk to actually them.
The normal number only goes to the automated paying system.

Was the second 'fine' a court result similar to the first one or is it just linked to a 'speculative invoice' that has not been admitted to. Also, what amount was the second one - sounds like they are going against the court order by not accepting your payment, as long as the second one isn't also a court judgment.

Thread hijacker, inviting contact off-forum on another PE thread, now suggesting people phone them - Is anyone else a mite suspicious about this one?

I'm trying to appeal against a Parking eye ticket at Wye Valley Visitor Centre, and an new to this, I was asking for emails so I can send a link to the folder of all the images of the signs I have taken to help anyone else. The website wont let me post the link so I thought this was the best way - obviously I was wrong!!

You need to understand a bit of history. Some parking companies have joined here and engaged in the most appalling behaviour. Members have been harrased and endured personal attacks.

Such events usual begin with a poster asking members to mail them for some reason. People now get suspicious easily and not without good reason.

when I paid a fine which I received off them they kept sending letters out, they then sent me a court letter, I went to the court and explained and took all the proof down only to get a court date, I then had to ring the court again telling them it had been paid and all the proof had been taken to the office to prove it, her reply was we are sick of parking eye keep wasting our time by not letting us know they haven't had the payment and people have no way of contacting them.

Some on here are very suspicious of fifth columnists, I have been accused of being a PPC stooge as I am a landlord with a small property company.

Phoning a PPC is most decidedly not to be advised.

I appealed because my fine was from the hospital with a blue badge bay but because I was late I forgot to inform the reception I lost. the reception only open so many hours so your stumped no matter what
