Pcn in hospital but was driver error

After driving around looking for a space driver ended up joining a few other cars in a strictly no parking area. I know this is driver fault and is prepared to pay the 30 quid fine but where else was driver meant to park if no spaces are available?! Driver was in plenty of time for appointment but still no spaces available.

You need to rant at the hospital, not here! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Done that. They said to appeal with the parking company0

So are you asking for our help in appealing the ticket, or looking for a 'nodding in agreement' with you that Hospital parking spaces are super-subscribed and aren't parking companies a-holes for issuing you with a parking charge?
You need to be clearer about what it is you are coming here for. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

....where else was driver meant to park if no spaces are available?!....
The correct answer is: Elsewhere.
What you do is drive out in a huff ... cry while you drive everywhere/anywhere until you can find a spot... park badly, cry and run back to the appointment and walk in late, distressed and in meltdown.
Because the answer is that if there isn't a space, that's it. There is no magical answer that magics spaces from thin air.
It's not right, it's a b4st4rd... yes. I agree.
But that's how it works.0 -
Umkomaas- The former I think but I was under the impression that I couldn't do this as the car was knowingly parked in the wrong place rather than having made a genuine parking mistake.
I'll be phoning the hospital again tomorrow and being more insistent this time.0 -
Pastures- yes I agree with what you're saying which is why I think I have to suck it up.0

Hope you realise it's not a fine, and (regardless of circumstances) assuming this is a pushover BPA member like Gemini(?) the NEWBIES thread near the top of this forum tells you how to win it in two appeal steps?Pastures- yes I agree with what you're saying which is why I think I have to suck it up.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Coupon- thanks for the faqs thread. The reason I feel an appeal will be unsuccessful is because the car was parked on top of the strictly no parking markings.
And i know they like to frighten you into paying but I don't want to run the risk of going through a court process shold I refuse to pay.0 -
But the registered keeper's appeal doesn't even mention that. The reason you will win (if it's Gemini, and you appeal as keeper) is because they can't hold a keeper liable.
