    You could put 'check enclosed', and then put a note inside saying 'Thank you for checking the enclosed'

    hadn't agreed a charge either but they still paid out £195 for time and electricity as well as the £25 court filing fee rather than allow the case to proceed to court.

    Not this old chestnut again ... No it isn't. It's only illegal to do so if the intent is to defraud or otherwise cause harm to the intended recipient.
