Blue Badge Renewal.

My local authority have not sent a reminder on the last 2 occasions I had to contact them myself.

i renewed a few weeks ago, and the system appears to have a failing.

i receivced a letter saying it was expiring ... and to complete the form and post it in the envelope ( to an outside body) which i did.

the letter went on to say that once my eligibility had been checked, i would be notified ... make my payment, and then receive my badge.

i posted the letter and less than a week later received my badge.... and no one had asked me to pay!

i visited my local council with the letter and voluntarily made a payment.

seems the right hand doesn't know what the eft hand is doing

There is a long time to wait for the renewal at times.
Mine took about 2 months.
They said to use my expired badge until new one arrived.
