Help with parking eye CCJ

I contacted the court again today to get more details including the parking eye parking charge notice number so I could see on their website the evidence etc.


Is it worth writing to parking eye first to explain the situation and asking them to set aside by consent, showing that I paid on the day as evidenced by my bank statement and that I was moving house the week before the incident and not having updated my VOC by the time of the parking notice being issued?


If I do write to parking eye how much information/detail should I provide (I don't want to accidently say wrong things if I do need to later take it to court if they don't engage)


...Or is this just wasting time and should I go straight for trying to get the court to set aside the judgment?

You need to act fast. An application for a set aside is supposed to be made promptly and without delay. A court can reject an application purely on the grounds it hasn't been made promptly.

Parking Eye will normally agree to it if they are getting paid but I see no reason for them to consent in your circumstances.
