If you set a standing order on the same day for an exchange of funds between accounts, there shouldn't be any issues can there?
Most banks don't send standing orders on weekends/bank holidays, Tesco Bank (and possibly other banks) does. So if an exchange involves Tesco and falls on a weekend, Tesco is short until the next working day. Doesn't usually matter much so long as the SO isn't set for the last 5 days of the account month, when the delay could mean no payment that month and double the next.

Sorry to raise an old post from the grave...
I have some vouchers and wondered if I was able to give them to others, or if only the named account holder (me) can use them.
I'd like to take my bf to the cinema but don't want to lose my privileges!

I've just received cinema tickets - I'd forgotten they do them every year.

I'm planning to close my club lloyd account at the end of this month, as I'm withdrawing all to fund a replacement car. I looked on the lloyds website at terms and conditions and it says: "The benefit option selected will continue for so long as the Club Lloyds account remains open, or you have a Club Lloyds benefits package added to an Added Value Account, and the Club Lloyds fee continues to be paid or conditions for the fee to be waived are met."

I'm not clear whether that means I just have to have the account open and pay fee when the vouchers were issued (as has fortuitously happened), or whether going forward they will they cancel any un-used vouchers from the date that I close the account. Anyone know?
Did you ever find the answer to this question, or did you leave your account open? I recently closed my account a couple of weeks after receiving new cinema tickets, but not sure if the tickets will still work.

One forum user recently reported that their cinema tickets were invalidated by Lloyds after the account was closed.

Lloyds terms say that they may withdraw the benefit at their discretion when the account is closed.

So, if you feel lucky, you might try to use those tickets as soon as possible, but ensure you have the means to pay if the vouchers are refused.

    Do you feel lucky?

..... You can, of course, use them online so you will find out whether the are valid at the point of order rather that causing confusion at the cinema!

On line ordering no longer has an additional cost (at least at Vue) and seat selection is easier.

My bank account was closed just this morning, but managed to use the vouchers to book tickets and seats online earlier today (all 6 at once)... worth £90+ for the location :-)

I closed my Club Lloyd's account recently, but still had some unused cinema tickets.

When I tried to use them I was told they had been cancelled.
