Club Lloyds Cinema Tickets

I've had a Club Lloyds account for over a year now and when signing up selected the cinema tickets, which I used last year.

I received an email this morning with 6 more tickets.

I thought we only got them as an incentive to join not get them every year.

Have they sent them by mistake or do we get 6 tickets every year?

You get them every year. I'm on my 3rd or 4th set :)

Just be grateful to those punters who pay the £3 Club Lloyds monthly fee and enjoy the freebies. I chose the monthly magazines.

I'm on my 3rd Gourmet card. You can login to their site and change the reward for the next year if you want

There is a choice of cinema chains now, but you have to elect which one before the tickets are sent out.

The OP should have had an email/letter saying it was time for the next lot of rewards and giving a period of time to elect a different reward (or cinema chain) before the tickets were actually sent out.

It is every year, this will be the third year. This year they've added Cineworld as an option, previously it was only Vue.

The account was available from late March 2014, so "this" is the 4th year for early takers. :)

The addition of Cineworld predated January 2016 so isn't a change this year....

I tend to ignore emails from banks, especially when they have attachments, glad I opened this one :-)

I would have had the Vue tickets anyway so it worked out OK

It would be nice to be able to re-route these benefits to others more likely to take them up. I have never taken this package benefit but if it were 'giftable' to other family members then I would make use of it.

Well, there's nothing to stop you getting a magazine subscription and letting others read them. Maybe you can even change the delivery address once they start arriving.

And if you got the Gourmet Society or Tastecard or whatever it is, you don't actually have to use your Lloyds debit card every time you want to buy a meal in the restaurants or pull out your passport to prove who you are, so you could let Josephine Bloggs or Dave Bloggs use it for their "reservation in the name of Bloggs, please". Of course it would be a blatant abuse of the terms of service, if you weren't joining them for dinner, but hey, why not join them for dinner.
