No, but the seller asked them to view, not get lost, which indicates slight desperation on their part?

Just common sense to most people I suspect.

    Is that how you interpret
the vendors has come back and said they are not prepared to talk about an offer until we have seen it and would be looking the asking price at this stage, and have a couple other viewings booked.
    ???

Your mind must be a wonderfully confused place! If you were selling a house, and IF it had loads of interest and viewings booked, and an interested buyer called with an offer... would you not invite them to view, regardless of how popular the house might be?

I don't expect you'll answer this. I've not seen you answer a question that I can recall.

Perhaps I remember people buying in the mid to late '90s without viewing, but that was in an absolutely crazy market where things were flying off the shelves. Not for this day and age, even in a flourishing market.

I was joking. However I`m predicting that they don`t get full asking price, and that is without even driving past :rotfl:

Where were things flying off the shelves in the mid 90`s, except Britpop cd`s at HMV?

I meant that block from mid 90s at it's lowest towards late 90s. London, for one. Brighton too.

Bought in 1996 then the market went mental. Sold in 1998 for 50%-ish more. People were buying without viewing in places.

Those who booked viewings so they could actually see it, lost out.

But what you'll never know is whether any of those who "lost out" had deeper pockets than the ones who jumped the queue. And if someone did, who really lost?
