Where do you buy plants online?

The quality and range of plants available online is really very good now. The plants are packaged well for transit and the big companies have brilliant no quibble returns policies. Thompson and Morgan are a great supplier of plug plants, plant packs, seeds and bulbs and you can use Tesco club card vouchers against purchases up to £45! Crocus.co.uk have a huge range of plants with a fixed delivery price so you don't pay anymore if you order alot of plants...can be good to team up with fellow gardeners to make a big order. There is of course Amazon marketplace which is full of plant suppliers. I have managed to find quite rare plants on Amazon that I haven't been able to find elsewhere. I have bought a fair bit from the three stores above and never been disappointed with speed, service or quality. As has been said above, there is quite a range online now. I like Hayloft Plants http://www.hayloft-plants.co.uk - worth looking in their magazine offers. I've also been very impressed with Saga Garden Centre http://www.sagagardencentre.co.uk/ = I recently bought some gooseberry plants from them and they were of excellent quality.0

Thanks both of you0

Jersey Plants Direct - I've been buying from them for years and have never been disappointed.0

If they come from Jersey then they'd take one breath up here then keel over and die! Too cold lol0

Used Thompson and Morgan a few times.
Pretty good.0 -
We're redoing our garden so buying a lot of plants - I've been impressed with the quality of plants from https://www.mailordertrees.co.uk - despite the name, they sell a lot more than trees - and http://www.crocus.co.uk/0

I do like the look of crocus, but the prices are scary. Maybe all prices are scary now though and I'm out of touch. I used to just buy plug plants from ebay but now I want something bigger and sturdier.0

Not as scary as the Crocus open day - they had some reasonable deals, but we still managed to spend £200 there  They are a good nursery however, and plants are good quality.0

That's what matters! I wonder how many ebay plants I've had and lost over the years..0
