When I phone EE within 30 days of my contract end date to request my PAC code do I also inform them then that I am giving notice to end my contract in 30 days time?

Also I suspect they will offer me a better deal (I want to move to sim only) do they normally do that then of should I expect a call within 30 days.
Thank you.

I phoned them explaining I wanted to leave and was giving them the 30 days notice, asked why and I explained and he gave me my PAC code, use it or dont use it and your contract will continue after the 30 days.

Do you want to stay with EE ?

No other network offering anything better ?

So if I use my PAC code my contract still continues?

Virtually every other network offers better Sim only deals.

I'll stay if they offer me something on a par with the other
    networks.

It's either or, get a PAC and use it within the 30 days will terminate the contract, giving 30 days notice will terminate as well.

Giving 30 days notice and getting a PAC cancels the 30 day notice if you do not use the PAC.

Keep an eye on prices as Vodafone and EE have announced new plans to accommodate the "free" EU roaming, which in the case of Voda comes with a price increase. EE still show their old SIM only prices but have new EU roaming deals in a few days time.

Do I have to serve a 30 day notice once I use my PAC code?

Effectively, yes, you can use it immediately but the network will still bill you for the 30 days.

Best is to request the PAC and use it near the end of the 30 days.
