Was paying £46/month for SKY Boxsets and fibre BB (with quite bif discounts from last year) and they wanted to put it up to £76.
Got them donw to £56/month but they would not go lower so told them to cancel both.
One week later went onto live chat and told them I would not pay any more than last year. Having got therm down to £47/month really quickly I almost went with it but then thought I would push them a little harder and asked them if they would give me a credit on the account as well. They came back with another 50% off line rental.
So ended up with SKY box sets and fibre BB for £34.70/month for 12 months. They even told me that the TV was not on a 12 month contract but would be discounted by 60% for that time.
It seems until you cancel they wont budge. I had started looking at the NOW TV deals and EE offered me 18 months fibre BB for £24/month. Not sure I like all these 18 months deals they are now pushing.
Anyway its a great result. Seems you just have to cancel to get anywhere.
Regards
