Another Ryanair story (new company low?)

Hello to all -
I would just like to share my Ryanair story, which I believe beats the company's low point.
Myself and my family flew with them between East Midlands Airport and Chania (Greece). Following departure and after the "fasten your seatbelts" sign was switched off, I went to the front toilet of the aircraft. After using the toilet, I attempted to do the obvious thing, which was to wash my hands. To my surprise however, I found out that there was soap to the dispenser. I immediately, came out and informed the nearest attendant of the problem, requesting her kindly to refill it.
Then to my surprise the attendant informed that the crew was aware of the problem, had ALREADY informed the suppliers BEFORE the aircraft departure's but the suppliers DECLINED (!!!) to provide them with refills, as this was not considered as necessary. She also informed me that the crew was ALSO having a problem, as they were unable to wash their hands properly as well (I wonder if people would buy anything to eat if they knew).
This is unacceptable: no matter how low the prices are, Ryanair (and every company) should have toilets which adequately stocked with paper and soap. I'm sure that you will agree with me that common sense wouldn't allow you to use a public toilet and then go and eat something (which I certainly avoided while being on air). Even more disgusting is the fact that the flight attendants had to use the loo and then go on and serve other customers as well. This is clearly, a totally unhygienic scenario - and this incident is one of the best example as of how diseases are spread.

Beat me to it. Do we know for sure the soap was empty in the (2) toilets at the back?0 -
And isn't all airline food sealed in either plastic or foil ? So they are not handing it at allEx forum ambassador

If the handling agents at EMA had no refills then what did you expect the airline to do, cancel the flight? That would be a massive overreaction to something relatively trivial.
Are you aware of any reports of diseases spreading as a result of this? I expect the passengers entering the plane already had more germs on them than could be picked up by a crew member having a quick wee.0 -
If the airline cancelled the flight because of lack of soap (which may or may not have been antibacterial anyway) Im sure you would have kicked up a fuss about a silly reason to cancel the flight.Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -
Willing to fly through the air at breakneck speed in a heavy metal tube with gallons of highly inflammable fuel about, lots of laptops & phones ready to explode on your way to Greece & you're worried about soap?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

it is not conclusive that handwashing with soap is more effective at reducing contamination with bacteria associated with diarrhoea than using water only

I call it a new sensationalist low from an MSE poster.0
