I always make sure I haven't left anything, not even as much as a piece of paper! I'll be double checking everything from now on though just to be on the safe side. Luckily there was absolutely nothing in there and believe me he had a good look through the windows before attempting to open the doors. My suspicion is he wanted a further rummage around. Got to be a special kind of stupid to attempt to steal it on a busy road in broad daylight...Just make sure there's nothing in it / visible, he's more likely to be trying to see if you've left coins in the tray and unlocked or something.0 -

No good for blowing fires out
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0 -
Can't believe that no-one has suggested wiring the battery to the handle!

If you're going for a steering wheel lock, get a proper steel one, not some shoddy plastic thing.
I have a Toad Shield - an early version of what's now sold as Disklok http://www.disklokuk.co.uk/ - which bears the scars where somebody attacked it with a pair of bolt croppers. They failed to remove it.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
I once bought a Pajero which my daughter called The Beast. I had to have an immobiliser fitted before I could insure it.You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

There are very few car thefts these days without keys, on reasonably modern cars anyway. He was just trying car door handles to search inside for valuables. I wouldn't waste money on a steering lock personally- as above just don't keep any valuables in it and keep it locked.0
