Hey all,
What with Turkey being the way it is atm, i thought we may get a good holiday deal.
We have found a lovely villa, but flights are coming in at £988 - £1400
Anyone able to help with flights?
31 Jul - 7 Aug 17, 2 Adults and 2 Children (12 and 11)
Any London, Man, Birm, East Mids airport + same return airport would do.
Any better deals or £988 the best price?
Thanks.

£250 each for school holidays is probably a pretty good fare0

It would be for any other destination aside from Turkey or Egypt.
We can get most holiday destinations for the same price, but were hoping for a saving due to the recent problems Tur/Egypt are having.0 -

Why? Most likely airlines have cut capacity in response the decrease in demand on these routes already. I can see getting good deals on hotels, villas, etc (as you can't just eliminate rooms from your inventory) but flights are a different matter.0 -

If you've gone for the Turkish Airlines option, don't neglect to select your seats online asap. There is no charge for that.
Since meals, hold luggage and seat selection are all chargeable extras on Monarch/Thomas Cook/Easyjet, the price of £806 is better value than at first glance, as those 'extras' alone can cost £300 to £400 with the 'low cost' airlines.
The stopovers aren't bad at 95 minutes each way. You'll be making your way to the other aircraft rather than waiting around.
If you wanted to leave on the night of the 30th in order to make the most of the accommodation by arriving on the morning of the 31st, it will cost you another £190.
