VALM. As skin is so sensitive decided to stick with usual products and not change things around. Currently at Barnard Castle moving on to Durham, Berwick on Tweed, Edinburgh area then breaking the homeward journey at Kendal, after 3weeks will need a holiday to recover from the holiday :T:rotfl: I am very lucky to be able to do this:D
Sounds a lovely trip. We are going to visit Durham or the NE coast next time we visit Emma in Newcastle and stay over. We are up there on the next Bank Holiday but only for the day to help her move back here for the Summer. Can't believe her first year is almost over.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I have a few items that I want to finish this summer
• Pixi glow tonic’- it seems to do nothing but when I stop my skin looks dull and tired. It is very deceptively effective.
• I have an eye shadow half baked to use up’- I have been using the same palette only since autumn 2015 and it is never ending. I am very determined to get this pallet finished and get all my value from it.
I used to use Pixi Glow Tonic and I didn't feel any difference when using it. Have switched to Murad Clarifying Toner which is a glycolic one too and that is fab.
I love Half Baked and have it in both the Naked and Naked 2 pallettes. Which one are you panning?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I'm in again I have the following to work through, also need to UU one eye shadow this month to keep on track for 12 by end of the year currently running at 4/12, going for the partially UU shades 1st.
My 5 by Summer
1 - UD Gwen Steffani Lipstick in Ex Girlfreind
2 - UD Gwen Steffani Lipliner in Ex Girlfriend
3 - UD Lip Gloss in Walk of Shame
4 - Boss Ma Vie Perfume
5 - Benefit Gimme Brow
5 by summer additional items
One of your most expensive items - Murad Invisiblur primer - going through this ridiculously quickly and it was expensive for a primer
Something you are loving right now - difficult as there are quite a few things that I love at the moment, but as most of them are quite new and will take forever to UU I'm going to go for UD Baby eye shadow (this has already hit pan) wearing this today and had forgotten how pretty it looks on the lid.
Something you regret buying - UD Allnighter foundation - horrid stuff not sure I'll ever be able to get rid of it though.
Matte product - Another difficult one - going to cheat and go for something easy to UU as its already hit pan. UD Stark eye shadow the perfect transition colour.
1 item left from 5 by Christmas.
1 - Urban Decay one & Done - not yet finished - almost
2 items left from 7 by Autumn - These 2 may end up getting binned
1 - Benefit Fake up Concealer Full sized - Hate this
2 - Benefit Watts Up Highlighter sample 2.5g. - Prefer Powder highlighter0 -
Thanks for the welcome guys! :jmcculloch29 wrote: »Welcome back! You'll find a few of the old gang here, some have moved on. I'm in touch with a few of them on Facebook and they are well and happy. One stopped posting when she had her lovely little girl, who is now two, toys took over toiletries.
Is it really three years since you were here? Wow.
I remember you as having a very high-end stash, so perhaps you have some lovely surprises. Fingers crossed for no pink rose candle moments (as in my sig).
I do recognise some familiar names but the thread is a lot quieter than before, I thought maybe everyone else had managed to get through their stashes :rotfl::rotfl: A likely story!
I describe my stash as more high-street than high-end lolNo more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

An early IN – though one I ordered a while ago:
Laura Gellar Face and Body Glow in Tahitian Glow, Supersize. My sister was raving about this, and texted me to say QVC had it at a great price, and I should get it. So I did, but by the time I got to it, it was waitlist only. My sister is far more into tanning products than me, being a bit darker, and most of the stuff she has I’m not keen on, but I tried this and was impressed as it was so much more natural than most.
It came with a little retractable brush too which seems nice, and it’ll be good to have a second brush to rotate when using B&B.
Hopefully that’s it for the month – I certainly don’t need anything else!0 -
2. Liz Earle Skin Repair moisturiser I love this and think I have a full sized in my stash. Have a sachet of L'Occitane Divine Cream that I'll use tomorrow.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I am panning the naked 2 and it is never ending. I have one cm left of the glow tonic and it is something im not sure about replacing.0

Hey hey,
Interesting chat about Pixi Glow Tonic I finished mine a while ago, and I have a tiny bit of Alpha H liquid gold to go too and wondering what to replace - I did once have first aid acid pads and I seem to recall them being good and potentially even better than those two. They do feel like'are they doing anything' products but I echo the feeling that suddenly you look rougher if stop! I've been racking my brains to what an older skin routine was that I'm sure gave my the best skin I've ever had. I think it could have been Emma hardie or Osaka cleanser the first aid toner pads and maybe an Emma hardie oil but I'm not sure! Might rebuy the Emma hardie cleanser and the pads but have to order them as harder to find.
I have a coupl of small UU:
- Primark body scrub - don't bother, bought as a shoe for these fancy ones I keep seeing in brown paper bags but it actually wasn't that cost effective at £3 for a small bag and had a weird texture WNBA
- GWP size of Eve Lom cleansing balm
WNBA as has mineral oil in and Emma hardie is a lot better0 -
