Hi guys, I would like to join/rejoin the thread! :j

I was an occasional poster a few years ago with a very big stash of shower gels and body lotions mainly. I moved to Hong Kong 3 years ago to work as an English teacher so stopped keeping up with the thread, and also the bulk of my stash is currently in my parent's attic so it was hard to keep using it up!!

I am moving back to the UK this summer so am trying to have a major declutter of my belongings in HK so I have less to move back, so it's time to start again with the toiletries challenge. My stash here is miniscule compared to what I had before but every UU in the next 3 months will be something less to fill my suitcase or TA when I leave. I've actually done pretty well with not buying loads when I'm here, a combination of a tiny living space and the horror of how much stuff I had to pack up from my old flat!

I am excited/terrified to find out what I put in my parent's attic 3 years ago when I get back :rotfl:

Welcome back! You'll find a few of the old gang here, some have moved on. I'm in touch with a few of them on Facebook and they are well and happy. One stopped posting when she had her lovely little girl, who is now two, toys took over toiletries.
Is it really three years since you were here? Wow.
I remember you as having a very high-end stash, so perhaps you have some lovely surprises. Fingers crossed for no pink rose candle moments (as in my sig).
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

    I'm in again for May!

April: 5UU, 4 INs - looks good - except the last In was a makeup palette (Stila Perfect Hue) so sort of 7 ins in itself - never mind!

Lots of spluttering going on here so hoping for 11 UUs in May. One already
    - Dune EDT by Dior 15ml. I've had this since 2002 and never much liked it.

Googled the Stila pallette which looks lovely. I'm currently watching a YouTuber pan Stila in the nude which is gorgeous. Thankfully it is an old Ulta exclusive so I can't get my hands on it.

1 Boots Extracts Mango body scrub you all know my feelings about these. Think this was the last one from the kit I bought in the January sale, I have two scrubs left : Sanctuary and Rituals.

Pulled another category to replace this item and will put it in PP as it's been going a while : Category: something by Benefit : Benefit Goofproof eye brow pencil.

I've also cut open my hand cream tube.

Hello mad_scientist! Good luck with your PP list.

First UU of May. Weather is pretty miserable so I've had a nice long bath.
    1. Lush Kitchen Karma Bubble Bar WDBA This is the old style one without glitter. Really nice softening bubbles and a kind of spicy orange smell. Probably would be more suited to winter but I'm trying to work through my Lush stash in date order and this was the oldest. Definitely going to try and stick to only buying bubble bars rather than bath bombs unless I really love a scent. The bars are much kinder to my skin and I just love having bubbles!

Hope you're all enjoying the bank holiday weekend! :)

I can totally relate mad_scientist, moving countries forces you to evaluate your stash! Fingers crossed nothing has perished in storage.

    First UU of the month:

Paula’s Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF50 sample WNB as full size. Was very fluid and easy to apply, but I think it's aggravating my skin.

Welcome back, I hope there's more exciting surprises than terrifying ones.

I had a last minute flurry before the end of the month, a hand wash finished, I finally remembered to use the last of the face mask and a deo went in the bin as it had spluttered its last. When grabbing the next ones I realised I have about 2 nearing their end also so hopefully a few extra items to the PP list below.

    My PP List for May

Bar of plain baby soap (Mar)
    Nivea Q10 face cream(Mar)
    B&H 130ml rose & ylang ylang & Patchouli body lotion(Apr)
    Lush Karma Solid Shampoo
    Nivea eye Cream
    Lush Wacky magic muscles
Superdrug Shower gel cherry & Almond

I would also like to finish the following 5 by Summer which are proving LHJ

    No 7 Foaming Cleanser
    CCS Foot Care Cream
    Dove Winter Care lotion
    Lush Karma Solid Perfume
    Elemis Softly daily moisturiser

Thank you for the new thread and I'm naturally in :P

I uu'ed TBS Grapefruit shower gel and Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Shampoo.

TBS Shower Gel is nice, although i wasn't keen on the smell. I usually like grapefruit washes but this one wasn't for me.

The shampoo is nice enough but poor value money imo. I might buy again if there is a good deal.

Thanks for the thread. Am in again.
I seem to have found a HG. I didn't have a shower oil option by the side of the bath, so took a Rituals Indian Rose and Sweet Almond Oil one out of the stash. I used it in the bath instead of a shower and now my skin feels awesomely smooth and soft - even without body lotion apres bath and my skin and the bathroom smell fabulous.
