My Mum grew lilies of the valley and always picked some for the house for my birthday when I was living at home. These two gifts were a lovely reminder of her, and those giving them were unaware of how special the flower is to me.
Belated birthday wishes And xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Updated PP List for May:-
Kind Natured shampoo
Kind Natured conditioner
Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lo-Fi blush
Loccitane 10ml original shea hand cream
Benefit Goofproof eyebrow pencil
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creme de Nude
[STRIKE]L'occitane Almond Shower Oil
Boots Extracts Peppermint body butter
[/STRIKE]Boots No 7 facial wipes
Pureology Red hair oil
The Almond shower oil that we've finished is the original bottle however I do have part of an eco refill left. Am thinking of saving this for Emma for her upcoming holiday though. Will bring out a Boots Extracts Mango body wash and the last remaining body butter next.
Did really like the Peppermint body butter. It smelt like it had vanilla mixed in so did not make me feel bodily cold on application.
Will have to pull two more items out via the roulette list later.
So I ordered some items from Avon via my friend at work. All needed:-
2 x body butters
1 x deodorant - not needed yet but they were reduced to 99p and I don't like spending more than £1 on deodorant.
1 x liquid soap. Have really enjoyed using this in the kitchen and will save me money as I won't replace with L'Occitane though I will keep buying L'Occitane for the bathroom.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. something you have a love/hate relationship with : have chosen the L'Occitane conditioner that I tried to sell because I hated it but am learning to get on with and want to love cos it's L'Occitane.
Something neutral coloured : latte eyeshadow from Larousse Pro matte palette
Painted my nails using OPI Elephantastic Pink.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Wow congratulations kadison that's lovely news. Were you really surprised?
Happy birthday to you and And too, hope you both had lovely days.
Hope you can get some time to yourself soon houseplant. I saw the space nk gift with purchase, it looked lovely.
I have another small out - Emma Hardie protect and perfect moisturiser spf30 sample. Wouldn't buy this, felt too heavy for my skin unfortunately. Might need to take a break from using samples for a bit. I always find the change in skincare gives me spots. Opened my Sunday Riley UFO facial oil this evening now I have UU the Clarins one. Very odd smell!0 -
Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes.
Love -hate relationship with a product? (Great idea Val.)
That one is easy, it must be one of my NBI's, a Jo Hansford Illuminoil
This drives me nuts. Some days I apply it and everything is most pleasing, I have a sleek look and tamed hair.
Other days I apply it and ....
It works a bit too well so that I look like I have dipped my head in the chip pan.
Or, some days. the oil apparently just cba'd to tame any frizz I have and lets my hair look like I just put my finger in an electricity socket.
It's a real enigma. Gorgeous product when it works... which isn't always.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I have a uu
L'occitane Verbena EDT 20ml - I liked this better than the shower gel and body lotion, it had a deeper, warmer scent to it. I would happily use but WNB due to their prices for perfume.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Something you have a love hate relationship with (hmmm) L'Oreal Low shampoo, have gotten used to how it works now and think it makes my hair look nice, but on the downside have found it causing a build up on the scalp, think I need to alternate this with a normal shampoo/conditioner - will add to list of things to UU (but may take a while its a big bottle).
Something neutral coloured : Anaheim eye shadow from Gwen Stafani Palette - concentrating on UU colours from this palette at the moment0 -
I have 2 UU to report (one from this morning and ne from last week that I forgot about):
From last week UU Benefit Gimme Brow this was one of the older style ones left from last year, I have a mini of the new style one from my Brow wax last month that I have started to use and think I prefer the colour. I still have a full size of the old one in my stash.
From this morning UU Murad Invisiblur primer - This is a great product, but over £50 for a primer is a bit much, also find that occasionally it doesn't apply properly and you get those rolled up flakes (not sure what I do wrong on those days). Need something with the same benefits but at a lower price - now using MAC spf 50 one, but need something without spf for going out on a night.
Updated lists
My 5 by Summer
1 - UD Gwen Steffani Lipstick in Ex Girlfreind
2 - UD Gwen Steffani Lipliner in Ex Girlfriend
3 - UD Lip Gloss in Walk of Shame
4 - Boss Ma Vie Perfume
UU- 5 - Benefit Gimme Brow
Additional items
One of your most expensive items - UU - Murad Invisiblur primer - going through this ridiculously quickly and it was expensive for a primer
Something you are loving right now - difficult as there are quite a few things that I love at the moment, but as most of them are quite new and will take forever to UU I'm going to go for UD Baby eye shadow (this has already hit pan) wearing this today and had forgotten how pretty it looks on the lid.
Something you regret buying - UD Allnighter foundation - horrid stuff not sure I'll ever be able to get rid of it though.
Matte product - Another difficult one - going to cheat and go for something easy to UU as its already hit pan. UD Stark eye shadow the perfect transition colour.
Something you have a love hate relationship with - L'Oreal Low shampoo
Something neutral coloured - Anaheim eye shadow from Gwen Stafani Palette
1 item left from 5 by Christmas.
1 - Urban Decay one & Done - not yet finished - almost
2 items left from 7 by Autumn - These 2 may end up getting binned
1 - Benefit Fake up Concealer Full sized - Hate this
2 - Benefit Watts Up Highlighter sample 2.5g. - Prefer Powder highlighter0 -
I went to Newcastle today to do my theory test, and I passed!
I had a few hours after my test to have a look round the city with some friends, and I went into The Body Shop and bought a few minis to try. So I have three INs today:
The Body Shop Mango shower gel 60ml
The Body Shop Shea body scrub 50ml
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream 15ml0 -

I used to love going shopping in Newcastle, sadly arthritis has made that a thing of the past. It was impossible for me to walk past their Lush, it was the only one I could get to easily.
I always used to go to a wonderful Italian restaurant on the Groat Market for lunch, it was amazing value. It changed hands and the prices actually dropped but the quality had gone.
