FWIW ... I have a Nexbox Android box (quad core, 64 bit, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage) ... anyway, this box allows a USB WiFi device to be plugged in to allow a wireless remote keyboard to be used. If the USB port can be used that way, perhaps a USB to Ethernet device might work?

No idea if these scenarios are related - just thought I'd offer an opinion from personal experience.

Unfortunately not .. Although the device you are plugging in is technically wifi, the USB end is just pretending to be a HID and does no networking atall ..

    Update.

Not got round to changing Android box yet as partners been ill.....but the connection point of view.....getting a 5 way good quality USB splitter with great reviews for some of the devices. Thanks a lot for the help. As I put in my other threads....my cheapo chinese £18 box was reviewed online & was crap for 4k. Works fine on everything else-no I have BT fibre at 25mpbs. Will probably give to a friend as a present. The 3gb memory runs will at least be a bit less sticky & should run quicker....& no need for SD cards as 32gb memory. Again-thanks all!
