Pushchairs - bouncy vs firm suspension?

Hi, we're choosing our first pram/pushchair. Today went to a shop and tried a few. There was a notable difference in the two models we liked - Uppababy Cruz/Vista and Babystyle Hybrid. The Hybrid suspension was much more bouncy - you could rock the pushchair slightly and I could see the springs in the wheels compressing. The Uppababy pushchairs do have suspension but it felt completely rigid - I had to really push down on the frame to compress it (it's also housed in the frame not the wheels).
My question is - which suspension is better? Bouncy or firm?
I know that in a car if it's too bouncy it's bad. But my thinking is - the baby will be so light - how would it even "activate" very firm suspension?? In which case - what's even the a point of it if the baby will feel every little pothole? On other hand - would very bouncy suspension shake the baby around too much?
Just confused whether baby should be bouncing in the pushchair at all, or does it not matter either way...
Thanks!

I haven't seen the Hybrid model you mention but I do know lots of mums with the Uppababy and they like it - especially for the massive basket which is really practical. No one has mentioned the suspension. Maybe it seems a bit stiff because it's new - when it has been used a bit and folded up and down etc would it loosen up? Anyway - no one has said a hard suspension is a problem. I have had this site recommended to me in the past ( http://www.pushchairexpert.com/ ). There are some detailed reviews on it from pushchair owners so they can give you some information on how they wear and last. You might find it useful, the Uppababy is on there and several Babystyles too.0
