Sky Broadband

Options
In October of last year(2016) I took out a Broadband deal with Sky. It was a brilliant deal which I got after reading the email that I receive from MSE.com. I received the router and got my visit to have everything set up. The 'technician' was from BT as they are used by Sky.it was a Saturday and I had a few problems with him regarding the set up and it seemed as though he didn't really want to be there. He told me that another appointment would be arranged. Soon after I had some health problems and It was the last thing on my mind. I paid an upfront fee of £25 and had already received the internet router. It was a 12 month contract only. So Nothing was set up therefore I don't owe them any money. And I still have the router. I would like to get my home internet set up and although It was only £25 was after any advice on contacting them

Sky broadband is self install. The only reason BT OR would visit is if there is a new line required, or if there was a fault detected within the property that required access. It may be that the OR engineer resolved the fault externally at the exchange or street cab, but didn't contact you to advise that.
So what do you mean by 'nothing was set up'? Do you have a working landline? Have you been billed by Sky since October?
If the service was available but you haven't used it, for whatever reason, then you are not entitled to any refund.
