Read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread and click on bargepole's summary, tells you what's what, shows you an example defence. Only needed if you get court papers. Hardly likely with Elite, look!

If you do, it takes some homework on your part of you need to do a defence but we hand-hold everyone here, they are all newbies like you and they ALL win (at the time of writing this) and I'm not just talking about the 4 yesterday, I mean all cases over a year.

The letter won't say "we will use a court judgement", but may be a letter before court action - if so proceed as advised in #12

There's an example of how to reply robustly to WH, written by Jonersh...I might have linked it in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread about debt collectors and solicitors acting as debt collectors.

If not, you can find it by clicking on Jonersh's name and going back through his posts this month or in June. It was fairly recent.

No, do not write a weak/short response.

Look at Jonersh's example response as a complaint letter to send to Wright Hassall:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/72802210#Comment_72802210

That was easy to find, you only had to look at the members list and search 'Jonersh' and click on his username to see his posts. You can click on anyone's username to view their posts, even your own.

    Oh yeah...sorry! oops.

Funnily enough I can find your post I wanted by searching Jonersh because I spelt it wrong there too!

Many apologies, my eye for detail must have broken!
