Sox, don't know how to post links from tablet! Want a decent, fast android to I hope ( if not just fast on other stuff and up to 1080p/blue ray quick playing, fibre speed deffo ok for this) play 4k.
H96 +, octa core, 3gb memory, 16 GB storage, dual band seems to get fab reviews and connects to web at 802 (whatever that means but meant to be good!), £50, from china, £61 to £70 UK supplier. Good choice for a top end android? Anyone any feedback or can find a better UK price? For a tenner I don't think buying from China is worth saving!

Mate, do you have to keep creating multiple threads to discuss the same issues. You've already got an Android 4K box thread open.0

Free country! Since when did u become a moderator? !!! Just thought a new thread qould be clearer for people.0

You will find pre loaded box sellers are being taken down .Unfortunately as Kodi etc has become public knowledge the law gets involved as Sky have been complaining .
So personally i would not spend much on a box unless you had other uses for it .
The European Court of Justice has ruled that 'fully loaded' Kodi boxes, which include plugins that can access pirated material, are illegal to sell and own.0 -

You latest replies to your own posts are almost intelligible due to poor spelling and punctuation.
You bought a cheap TV and box that maybe the MSE way but there are a lot better out there for discerning viewers.0 -
Hi! I'm not going to buy a pre-loaded box-a)-too rsky re: malware, etc....b)-anything on there could be dodgy & more importantly out of date!!! Kodi itself is a great FREE platform thats legal, there are many, many add ons that are legal. As an example you could load on freeview or other IPTV channels from abroad, You Tube for films, etc etc & if on a visit abroad or indeed in the uk simply plug stick/box into UK caravan tv slot/hotel tv, abroad, etc....as an easy way to access more information/TV etc. I simply want a 'smooth' running box given even on fibre my connection is not ace.
I do agree selling 'fully loaded' boxes is dodgy to say the least-most things by the very nature would not be up to date anyway (!) but individuals can load on what they like.
From what I've read online anyway if you stream a film & do not download it its perfectly legal (there was I beleive a high court/european court ruling saying this was not illegal??)....but whichever way you look at it Kodi will always be contreversial.
I DO agree that advertising blatently that you can avoid payinig subscription fees to Sky/Virgin etc is 1stly illegal & secondly as a way of advertising downright stipid & thick lol (!).0 -
Inner zone...have you nothing better to do???0

Well all i am saying is that recent action where servers have been taken down , court rulings , banning of sales of preloaded boxes and the simple fact that Kodi and its ability to stream content from certain sources . May not be the end but the beginning of the end .
Thats why i say buy cheap if you want to stream those sources .

The new ruling, issued yesterday, puts pirated streams on the same legal footing as illegal downloads.
99% of the boxes are rebadged Chinese stuff anyway .
Recommendation me Dreamlink TI or TI Plus .0 -

Plenty, but you do give us all a laugh with your continued spamming.0 -
Inner Voice-I have NOT bought a 'cheap' TV-just an excellent priced TV that USED to be very dear (only because it's a 2015 model but bang up to date)....I'd agree to differ that Samsung TV'S are one of the best for 'discerning' viewers....check out the Which' reviews...!!!!!!!!
Yes-my Schission V88 IS cheap.....crap at playing 4K but brill for smart functions & everything else.
Hence....my request (kindly answered in a sensible manner by other posters who actually want to help) for ideas on another box that will be the main one that is smooth to run...future proofed etc.
Thought that this was what a forum was for-helping others & asking for advice rather than wasting time slagging off peoples spelling (BTW I'm a crap typer on a tablet-hence the odd typo-shoot me now (!)) & punctuation.....
JJ Egan-thats really interesting....off out now but if it's not much trouble if you happen to be looking at any links about the court ruling could you post it? If you've not or are busy I'm back in later-it's just that my glasses are poor & I struggle with surfing/typing on tablets/smart phones!
On a different note a year & a 1/2 ago I 'nearly' applied for an employed job as a salesman selling the 'loaded' boxes...something in my unconcious stopped me then....now that's been proved to be a good call!
So....if I've made any typo's please highlight them & I promise to learn the words off by heart & stand in the corner with a Dunce's hat on & with my hands on my head lol (!)0
