Samsung Galaxy S7 SD Memory Card Reader Problems

Approx 1 year ago, i purchased an S7 direct from Samsung online.
I put a 64GB Kingston Class 10 Micro SD (new) into it for photos etc.
Randomly when the phone was rebooted, the SD card would become corrupt. I assumed it was glitchy software as it was a new handset. As Software updates rolled out, the problem continued but happened at random. More so when trying to use the SD card for anything taxing - Taking burst shots on the camera, recording in HD video, deleting multiple pics at once. The SD card would always corrupt.
Que today, i managed to get around to buying a new SD card as i'd assumed my SD card must always have been faulty. The phone has 32GB memory so it was't a pressing matter to get it resolved straight away.
Unfortunately with a brand new memory card, even when formatted the problem persists.
Checking online it seems a common issue with the early batches of the Galaxy S7.
My next step is to obviously contact Samsung. IIRC they offer a 2 year warranty, but i can't remember for certain. My concern is if they can't replicate the issue because it's so intermittent or it ends up broken at the repair centre as i've read some stories from others on here. Obviously i can't avoid a repair centre as i need a repair, but wondering how best to protect myself by making sure it doesn't return more damaged than it went in.

Photographs of screen before posting .
Samsung's warranty is 24 months but it is subject to their very very strict terms and conditions .
Have you factory reset ??0 -
Samsung have walk in repair centres now that do some repairs while you wait/same day, have you checked if there is one within a reasonable distance of your location?====0

Yeah, tried a factory reset a few times but sadly to no avail.
Annoying as it was one of the deciding factors to justify selling my S6 for the S7.Samsung have walk in repair centres now that do some repairs while you wait/same day, have you checked if there is one within a reasonable distance of your location?
I haven't yet, but that's great to hear.
I'll have a look and see if any are nearby. All your base are belong to us.0 -
Did you format the card in the phone or via a PC?0

Both. With 2 different cards.
Both work fine for a while but eventually become corrupted when you try and do anything intensive with the phone that requires use of the USB card.
Burst shots. HD Video. Dragging / dropping large files to it etc.
USB cards work fine in every other deviceAll your base are belong to us.0
