Renewal Haggling - Orange Contract
Hello,
My Orange contract is up on the 18th Oct.
Currently I am on Dolphin £35. 500mins and unlimited texts.
I pushed pretty hard when I called them about renewing and managed to get offered:
12month SIM only contract.
Dolphin 35 (Same tariff as I am currently on)
First 6months @ £15pm
Last 6months @ £20pm
I was pretty impressed with myself. But I then tried pushing for the same deal but with a new handset too. The Orange CS guy said he couldn't offer me anymore but to call back AFTER my contract has finished and I should be able to push for a little more.
Is this the case? Will I be able to push for a bit more.
When I called up a few weeks ago about a different matter I got chatting to the CS representative and he told me I was a "Band 3" customer, which is basically considered a customer worth keeping I think?
Perhaps someone works for Orange and can shed some light?
Cheers,
Chris
