You can ignore private parking tickets in Northern Ireland. There is no Keeper Liability legislation, so as long as the driver isn’t identified (don’t contact the PPC then you can’t identify the driver) there’s nothing the PPC can do apart from send letters which threaten all sorts, but count for nothing.

  • Hi
Just wondering what the outcome was from this for the NI ticket? Got a CPS parking notice in a handy park and do not particularly want to pay!
    Thanks

This thread is 2 1/2 years old and the OP has not been back since April 2017. Hopefully they followed the advice that is specific to NI.

Everyone is asked to read the sticky thread for NEWBIES before posting to get the best and most up to date information. That is your starting point.
If you need further help than please start your own thread.

Please also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

I can see that you know how to find the NEWBIES from your previous UKPC thread so you really don't need to be asking for advice on someone else's old thread.

  • Hi I got a parking charge notice today but I had displayed a valid parking ticket on my windscreen. It was quite windy today and when I closed my car door the wind blew the ticket over so the time on the ticket wasn’t visible. The parking attendant watched me purchasing the ticket and putting it on my car. Should I appeal this?
