Anyone has 6 years to bring any small claim - that's the limitation for any county court action. Johnersh just means it's impossible to tell if a robust response has any effect, because they could always try again later, in a couple of years when they hope you've binned everything or moved house.

It's what this 'fine industry' does to people. And it needs stopping. Hence the MP complaints needed.

Thanks again Coupon-mad. Will get my letters sent off on Monday I think. Is there an easy way to find out the name of the managing partner of HW? I've found a name of Sarah Perry from a google search?

Hi all, to provide an update regarding this case of mine, I sent the template letter from Johnersh to WH. I copied in my local MP, and my local trading standards, also sent letters to them asking them to investigate this matter on around about the 14th August.

In response I had a complaint acknowledgment from WH within a few days confirming my complaint would be investigated and they would get back to me in due course. I have had another letter from WH just this week advising they were still looking into my complaint. Anybody had anything similar to this happen to them?

I think Johnersh has heard of other cases which have gone quiet like yours - his letter works well.

  • Given the fact that they have acknowledged the complaint, and advised a response will be with me in due course, I am expecting something to come through advising if my complaint is upheld or rejected. Will keep you all posted

She sounds like a bundle of fun:

Hmmm, why would someone who; "Advised on claims of failure to supply which involved multi-million pound international arbitrations," now be scuzzng about trying to raise money for carpark scam artists? Must have fallen low in life.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”
  • or they'll keep holding on, hoping youll forget the complaint exists, and quietly drop it all...

They will struggle to answer all the valid points you make.
You need to put the pressure on as reminders

If and when they do answer every point made, then, as you know
there are few solicitors on this forum who I'm sure will not
let them get away with rubbish

No suitable reply can only mean a severe complaint to the SRA

The SRA have previously denied any problem with
WH and it would be interesting to see what the SRA
    think about this

Wright Hassall are not fit for purpose and fail to follow
    the principals of the SRA

    As fatbeetle correctly says ...
"now be scuzzng about trying to raise money for carpark scam artists? Must have fallen low in life."

Wright Hassall have done themselves no favours getting
involved with cowboys .... because google is not their
    best friend
