Leaseholder parking fine

  • Sorry for not being clear.

My lodger got a PCN from P&P so I decided to appeal for him as the leaseholder:

    Appeal Information:
Are you the registered keeper of the vehicle? No Were you the driver of the vehicle? No

    Appeal was refused.

I emailed the MA asking them to cancel they fine. The MA said they would request the fine be cancelled but would be reluctant to do so again in the future.

This is the last I heard until P&P Managements solicitor started sending me the above letters a few months later.

I have now written to MA to ask what the heck is going on.

    Hope that makes it clearer!
  • Well it'll be delightful if they proceed against you at court and in error, because that ain't gonna fly....
  • Fantastic. I'd like ringside seats please. What part of the country are you? You are neither driver nor RK, there's no way in the world they can win. Perfect example of the lack of brain cells applied within the private parking industry

  • Because the PMC's solicitor is sending letters to someone (me) who had absolutely nothing to do with that car being parked where it was without a permit?

Thanks. Will double check the lease.

Have just had a seconds letter from MA's solicitor giving me 14 days to pay so need to be quick now.
Yes, today's letter was the letter before claim.

    From the Managing Agent's solicitor?

Yes - bottom line, you are no more liable for this than I am. :)
