Hi guys, Bought a car from a dealer back at the start of the month and as of yet, haven't had any new owner paperwork through... is that normal? The dealer assures me that he's done everything he needed too his side? Is there an average time it takes or anything? I've literally been out of the car game for years :D Thanks.

In my experience they are very quick, when I bought my car last year I got the V5 within a week, and when I sold the car last week I got the sale notification yesterday in the post. If its now been 3 weeks, I would call the DVLA to check if they have actually received anything from the dealer/seller
