As fisherjim says .... " The POPLA dummy"

Probably recruited from the Gladstones/IAS school for dummies

Not to worry, as coupon has said ....it's only Britannia!, a useless bunch

Nevertheless, I would still contest the adjudicator's decision as it will cost them money.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

After ignoring a number of letters and calls from Britannia Parking for 16 months I now have BW Legal writing and calling me. They want payment within 16 days or they will seek Britannia Parking's instructions to commence legal proceedings against me in a County Court.
    Should I still ignore?

Block BWLegal on your phone and get rid of the pests

Before they can take you to court, BWL have a lot of hoops
to jump through and that means a LBA letter which they
must provide proof of their claim and then give you 30
    days to respond.

If this happens come back here

I've now received a letter from BW Legal with details of County Court Business Centre in Northampton. It says I have a limited time to reply to the claim form and a response pack form is included. The County Court and HM Courts stamps/logos on the letter don't look right and they are blurred. I'm happy to share a photo of the letter, but the forum won't let me post the link as I'm a new user. It also says a response can be made online, but I cannot post the website as I'm a new user.

    THAT IS A LIVE CLAIM
    Its just a crappy printout.

Post 2, newbies thread. READ IT NOW
    1) Acknowledge the claim ONLINE following the instructions in the newbies thread, post 2
    2) Tell us the ISSUE DATE.

To post links you simply "break" the URL - http becomes hxxp.

You must go online and acknowledge thec laim, using the info found on POST TWO of the NEWBIES thread
Confirm to us when you you ahve done so
    Tell us the issue date.

Fail to do those and help will be less forthcoming.

You would be wise to mask the Claim Number in that image.
It uniquely identifies you - as does the registration number of your car, which is also visible.

With a Claim Issue Date of 19th October, you have until Wednesday 7th November to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox link from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

Having done the AoS, you then have until 4pm on Wednesday 21st November 2018 to file your Defence.

Over four weeks. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but don't leave it to the very last minute.

When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as described here:

    1) Print your Defence.
    2) Sign it and date it.
    3) Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    4) Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    5) Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
    6) Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
    7) Wait for your Directions Questionnaire and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread to find out exactly what to do with it.
