Any advice gladly appreciated

i am on a 500 minutes per month vodaphone tariff, i have wrongly assumed that the free minutes are from my billing date (17th of each month)
Someone has just told me free minutes run from the 1st of every month.
i have gone over by 2 hours or so if thats the case, any suggestions?

many thanks

With phone companies it is best never to assume anything, most companies have a way that you can call and get an automated message telling you your remaining minutes, try that first and see whether you really have gone over as much as you thought.

If you have run over all you can do is pay up and remember this for next month.

  • Give them a call an explain. A little poetic licence may help.;)

They're usually very helpful and might be able to arrange something with you.
  • I work for vodafone so can confirm that yes, the minutes do reset from the 1st of each month and the best way to keep track of your minutes is to call 44555 and that will tell you how many mins sms etc youve got left.

    Hope that helps
  • thanks everyone, i should have reset my phone counter as well, but i honestly thought it was from the billing date,
