Amazon UK Seller Charging Restocking Fee

A UK seller on Amazon UK has a returns policy which seems to me to break UK regulations in a number of ways. One example is they state they will charge a restocking fee (of 20%) for items returned because they are no longer wanted.
Any suggestions of how best to approach Amazon to get them to require the seller to change this policy would be appreciated.
(As it happens this policy does not affect me as the item I wish to return is faulty.)

You can try to point Amazon to their own T&C and the T&C of the seller.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=3149431Please note you cannot charge restocking fees in any circumstances.
Ultimately if a return was made for change of mind and the seller tried to retain part as a restocking fee, the buyer will be able to initiate an A-Z claim.0 -
Amazon now have an Amazon for business which deals with B2B transactions, restocking fees are allowed in B2B sales. A link to the seller would help determine if they are a business seller or a consumer one.0

Thanks for that. The last paragraph makes it seem like Amazon are not that concerned. They will uphold complaints about the practice, but that only works for those who know to complain.0 -

Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't want to give the company's name here.
However I don't believe they are just dealing with business customers. My transaction was done using my normal (and only) account as a consumer. Also there is nothing to highlight they are selling only to businesses and the products (or quantities of product) are not clearly business related.0
