Parking Ticket not on display

  • Unfortunately I didn't read my first letter properly as it did inform me that I could appeal to POPLA, but being used to responding to usual correspondance by replying to the sender I just did this as usual.
Can I just clarify that I am understanding your advice clearly please. Ignore the letters and don't even reply to them, however if they do take me to court I could be ordered by the judge to pay a fine and pay their legal fees, although it may get thrown out of court because we had a ticket that wasn't in the correct place on the screen.
    Many thanks

It is unlikely that they would take you to court for a "fluttering ticket", even if they are not forced into liquidation.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Sorry to be blunt but you seem to have a problem reading anything and taking in the advice.

You have been advised it's not a fine.
You have been advised to read the newbies thread.
The charge has not been raised to £150, the debt collecting Muppets have added on costs to scam you out of more money, they definitely should not be paid or contacted, they will go away eventually.
But had you read the newbies thread you would understand that too.

You again have not read the correspondence from the UKPC idiots who offered you a POPLA appeal where you could have seen this off.

Now you are in a waiting game to see if they do try a small claims threat, which is winnable if you follow advice on here, but you need to read and absorb.

This is all a templated game played by UKPC who are experts at bending words, and faking photos (proven fact), to make gullible targets give them money, do some research on here and don't fall for it.

As The Deep says UKPC are also being targeted by HMRC at the moment too just to show what a bunch you are dealing with.

The post wasn't overly offensive, but it went against the concept of a money saving website, and gave incorrect and untrue information.

Apologies. I didn't realise that giving views that went against the concept of saving money meant the post would get deleted and I'd receive a warning to my personal email account.

I thought I'd inadvertently said something racist/sexist/offensive but it seems I just gave an opinion that someone else disagreed with.

    Interesting "forum".

What legal fees? They are generally not allowed in a small claim.

But yes if you lost a defended case (VERY rare here) you'd then pay about £175, no CCJ, nowt awful.

Let's not debate this but we can't understand why a MSEer with a number of posts to their name would fall for or be posting to support private parking ticket cowboys. Obviously MSE Towers agreed. No-one pays these protection racketeers here.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
