Keep an eye on your inboxes on Tuesday 18 April to see if we've contacted you. If we have please follow the instructions in the private message (you will be asked to email us). The FIRST 50 people to email will win a signed copy of the book.

Odds of winning were around 35 to 1.

The publisher providing these books will send them out directly though, to aid administration, this won't happen until all 50 winners have provided their name and address. So it may take several weeks between the giveaway's end and actual receipt. We'll update this thread to let winners know when they've been sent out.

They are going to say when the books have been sent out to the winners (who already know who they are) not name them and the thread indicates it may take several weeks before they are sent and it's only been one week so far.

Were you one of the 75 people who were pm'ed by MSE as potential winners? If so, and if you replied quickly, chances are you have probably won a copy - but as per the text below it may take a couple of weeks to get books to winners:-

"How will the people be chosen?

75 people will be picked at random (we've a special little computer programme to do it) and a private message will be sent to each of their winning usernames requesting their USERNAME, FULL NAME and ADDRESS details (there'll be an email address to send this information to, we don't want it done via private messages).

The FIRST 50 people to get back to us will win a signed copy of the book.

I got an email asking for my details then didn't hear anything else so assumed I didn't get one. A package arrived yesterday with a copy of the book. Lovely surprise. Thank you. It's a very good book.

I'm pleased to hear someone won, I was beginning to wonder?

I haven't heard anything, although i was definitely one of the first 50 to reply. It wasn't difficult to work that one out.

Maybe there was a problem with the email?
