Did you get a private message from them? That is how they informed winners and the first 50 out of the 75 they messaged would receive the book. Unless you monitor the MSE email address ypu would never know if you were one of the first fifty
If you were then sure your book will turn up if you followed the instructions in the private message correctly£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Oops, sorry. I didn't get an email. It was a private message asking me to follow the instructions to the letter. Any mistakes and I might not be considered. I expected an email after this to inform me if I was a winner but didn't get one. The book just turned up. Don't know how you know who got private messages or who answered them.0

I received my book today, thanks.
Some good recipes.
I'm not convinced it's a signed copy, though?
I will have to cross check in a bookstore.
Thanks anyway for the competition, MSE.Fred - Where's your get up and go?
Barney - It just got up and went.

I got mine. It looks quite good but I don't believe it costs £1 to make the meal lol. Bit misleading. I will make lobster but share it between 50 people to make it worth £1 per head! Ps. There is no lobster recipe. Just an example lol
I've bought the BBC triple tested recipes book before and the food I made from it did not taste good. I bought the book because recipes were easy to make and not much ingredients. Lol. Regret it now!0 -
Received my copy this morning too :-) Is a lovely book, mine doesn't appear to be a signed copy though, it's exactly the same as my friend's that she bought in a bookshop, has a 'printed' signature on page 7.0

They are all signed copies, it did not say and they are not personally/individually signed.0 -
Sorry mjm3346, I didn't quite understand your message, when you say "they are all signed copies" do you mean the prize books are all signed by Miguel Barclay? Or, are you referring to all other copies that can be bought from retailers?
There is a difference between a 'signed copy' and an 'unsigned copy'. A signed copy is signed with a pen and an unsigned copy has an electronic [printed] signature. The prize books in question were supposed to be 'signed' as in 'with wet ink'. The copy I received was not signed, although other winners may have had theirs signed, I'm not sure.
Did you win one too? The book is otherwise really good though and I've already tried 2 of the recipes!
