what I'm saying is are you going to these sites because you need to or going to them just to get a few pence for going.Hope you can understand that.
we are going to them for free not because we need to,
with a name LEACHY you do what we do and you are on this site for bargains just like we are so stop moaning about quidco
have you ever noticed morons coming to your house to change gas and stuff?well they get paid but if we go through quidco we get paid not them so the COMPANYS lose nothing because they give it to canvassers anyway
  • Kimmywal, was your home insurance with More Th>n? I'm having the exact same problem myself just now!
  • My experience with Quidco has been excellent so far... until I tried for NatWest Home Insurance. This has been just under a month and still not tracked. Have an earnings ticket in with Quidco, but no-one is 'apparently' doing or saying anything, and in the meantime time goes on with the opportunity for cancelling with NatWest without charge, also moving on.

Whilst we know that the cashback is not guaranteed, the opportunity cost of going with one merchant rather than another, is huge. So my view is avoid NatWest. I only went to NatWest for the cashback via Quidco, would obviously have chosen someone else had I known they would not track.

If you actually read what I said I am not moaning about quidco I think it's great ,please get your facts right before putting your foot in it!! What
I am saying is that people are possibly going to sites just for a few pennies for that sake not because they need to.
  • My other half took out a new car insurance policy on there, through the RAC, and it tracked within 1 day!!! And that was £70 cash back, so anyone who says only small amounts track are mistaken!!!
Saving for a lovely summer holiday. Will it be Evesham or Egypt???

Yes, 2 car insurances & house insurance with Pru. ~£300ish in the bank.

I went through Quidco last week to get car insurance through Prudential but nothing has come back yet as being tracked so I have put in an enquiry. I do hope I get it!

Sorry Leachy I really do not understand you either.
I go to quidco, not because I need to, but I get a kick out of being paid cashback for things I would have to pay out for anyway ie Barclays £125 for household insurance, £50 for mobile phone contract to name a couple.
    This money I have had!
I am awaiting 2 cars insurance with the Pru. And just about £100 with Curry's all validated so hope i will get it.
And I have done the Pru health bits and other click thrus, not because I need to I LIKE IT!

  • Got £70 cashback on my home insurance, £40 on my car insurance no probs - quite a few smaller cashbacks too. Only prob I had was with betfair - wagered a £10 like they said but they refused cashback.

I think the OP is probably referring to those on here who use quidco to get a few pennies a time to click websites. i can see how that would be taking advantage of the site, but greed gets to everyone :j

re clicks - I don't think that's taking advantage of the site at all as they openly state it's there and how much it pays.
I got my house/contents insurance through quidco and ended up paying about £1.50 for the whole year as I got so much cashback, this was from direct line who then threw in travel insurance for free! This was in May and it paid out no problems.
