Yet my £500 Voodoo has just done 1000 canal towpath miles since September.
OP I have a diesel that we've had since almost new. Now at 85,000 miles it's starting to cost me serious money, (timing belt, springs, brake issues, electrical issues, (well it is a Renault), clutch). However, under the 30 day guarantee I'd expect the place selling it to honour that.Pants0 -

Clutch is wear.
Brakes and belts are service consumables.
Springs are road damage.0 -

I paid £1,500 for it. After a few weeks, I noticed the clutch was making a noise, and a small clunk could be heard from the rear.
Thank you
"After the first week, I had the clutch noise, however I couldn't go back till the second week, as it was the new year, n the garage was closed"
So the car was bought last year and you have had it for 4 months now.0 -

Cant see most pay that for entry but to each their own.
And no I dont think £1500 buys a new car but older with a few thing to do ( not major )

I've never spent more than £1,000 on a car in my life. still got one I paid £1,000 for over ten years ago and I've put 80K miles on it. Plus another I bought over 5 years ago for £750 and have put 50K miles on it. There are plenty of good cars around for under £1K so long as you don't pick a model popular with new drivers as they are poor value.0
