I work in retail and twice today, two customers handed me a €1 coin instead of a new £1 and the other day, I was given one in my change - I asked for it to be changed I wonder how many others have been given a €1 coin instead of a new pound coin? Whilst serving in the Forces in Germany it was discovered that UK 5p coins worked as a 1DM in coin slot machines / phone boxes.

This turned 5p into almost 20p.

Obviously as we were representing Great Britain none of us squaddies ever took advantage of this situation.....................................

Was it really "everybody" that was Kung Fu fighting ???
