Evening folks
Happy as a pig in poo this evening
A couple of mates round and one of them asked what was wrong with the hi fi...
Explained the amp had died and I was trying to get another one.
He asked if I'd checked the fuses... of course, I said, first thing I checked was the fuse in the plug...
Erm, No says he, the fuses inside the amp on the main power input board...
The penny dropped, older amps have internal fuses on board...
Out came the screwdriver, got the casing off and low n behold that was it, a blown internal fuse...
Quick trip to Maplins and £3 odd for a pack of new ones, fitted and Tah Dah! Back to life again :j:j:j
So, good tunes in abundance once again

Urrrgh... Morning Folks...
Had a not very pleasant weekend...
Made a homemade thai style green chicken curry Friday night... the yellow stickered chicken which was dated to be used that day must have been already off as Saturday, Sunday and even yesterday I was sick at both ends...
Had to take day off yesterday, so have also lost a day from an already busy, busy week...
Feeling better today, still a wee bit delicate but back at work.
Won't be trusting YS stuff dated for same day again...
