I get the feeling that we need to be posting our individual discounts each month for reference as in my case I got a whopping 41% discount in this month's little extra pack.
    For the record...
Little Extra Pack = 41% discount
    Winter Shaker = 38% discount
    Simple Saver = 19.4% discount
May Future Pack = 14% discount

Mine are identical to those except for little extra pack where mine is 5.8%. Here we are with these two tier pricings again so why is yours so high. Are you single or duel fuel. I'm single and outside my first year promise being a client 18 months now.

Mine are all the same as yours but my Little Extra Pack is only 5.7%
A few months ago before I was moved onto Baseline/Top Shopper, I queried why newer customers were getting bigger discounts. I was told it was because they were newer customers on a different tariff to me and that when I was migrated to Baseline, my discounts would be the same.

Clearly this is not the case. I'm electricity only, 8000 kWh per year with E7 and I've been with PS since April 2017 - what's your situation Equites?
  • Ditto to Tafrock except that my Little Extra Pack = 5.6% discount.

I'm single fuel (electricity) and in first year of contract with Powershop - consumption is around 4000kWh per annum.
In theory, they say that I will pay 12.19 p/kWh per unit and 18.71 p/day standing charge if I buy all powerpacks in year 1.

Anyone else got this high discount Lep.
I see your a first year customer so I suspect that's why your Lep discount is so high equites

However my top shopper (supposedly achievable if I buy all powerpacks) rate is 12.3p per kWh with a standing charge of 16.6p
My standard rate (baseline) is 17.31p per kWh with a standing charge of 17.57p

    My annual consumption is 2611kwh

I have been with PS for just over a year,. I have a notification from Cheap Energy Club that i could save 20% by switching. However this is calculated on the baseline rate, so Im thinking as long as I pay on average with packs over 20% discount, then i should be ok. I have been buying up discounted packs (over 18% saving) for a few months meaning I've paid for energy up to mid March according to the App.
Does this make sense, anyone else in a similar situation? I sometime think it would be simpler to go with a standard supplier where I know exactly what the rate will be.
  • The CEC never calculates the Powershop tariffs correctly.
The Citizens Advice Bureau site does however (it is powered by energylinx) https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/

If you have a bit of time to push meter reads and to check costs on a monthly basis - sounds good to me. As you've done at least 12 months you can easily compare your last 12 months usage+costs against other suppliers to determine whether you're getting good value or not. Regarding the future, as you 've paid for energy up to mid March it sounds like you're in good shape for this Winter, just as charges are rapidly going up.
