its the panasonic nv-ds65
i have borrowed it for my holiday and it came with no cd
at first it would notice that i had plugged something into the usb but now it wont even do that
have tried restarting my computer but hasnt made a difference
have also tried the panasonic website but with no joy
i leave on monday and am completely stuck so any help will be appreciated

Your best bet is to use a Firewire connection.
Click on the link and enter the model number for the drivers and manuals: http://www.panasonic.co.uk/customer-Support/download-centre.asp0 -
have tried this site but doesnt seem to find the model number.it was bought in dubia a couple of years ago if that makes a difference.as far as im aware the pc should automatically pick up the camcorder and i shouldnt need the cd hopefully thats what will happen on holiday and everything will go smoothly.i wanted to try out the photobucket hosting before i left but little chance of that now
any other ideas would be appreciated if not ill just wing it whilst im over there

You must be entering it wrongly or in the wrong place. The page came up in my first try. It has the manuals and drivers.
Click on the pic to know what you should see.
Anyway, here's the driver: http://rapidshare.com/files/59246260/USB_Drivers.zip
You'll have to go back to the page for the manuals. Just enter the model number as you have it written above.0 -
