It's op problem, regardless of packaging. The company use special couriers that know what they are handling hence the £36, the goods aren't just thrown into the back of a van, they then deliver it safely.
Choosing your own courier you chose poorly, the goods were packaged the way they always are the way the seller would normally get the goods to the customer, they have done nothing wrong.
You need to take the hit, blame the courier and fight them.
You have no rights to reject the item using consumer rights because you (your agent) have damaged the goods, this would also mean they can deduct up to full price for the unreasonable handling. And as it totally use less now that's what they would do.0 -
The £36 was far too much money and I used DX which is a well known supplier. P2GO have admitted fault but not the amount the door is worth so we shall see.0
